Research & Development

DiTEC Research LAB is devoted to research on high-performance digital systems since its creation in 1995. First research lines were on AND-XOR logic design with the objective of delay and area optimization in combinational logic. Next, the research group put its work on the study of Residue Number System (RNS) along its applications to the development of high-performance digital systems with limited resources. All this lines have been integrated into several research projects, resulting in satisfying results and abundant indexed publications. Nowadays, there are four main research lines open:

  • Security in IoT devices, devoted to the development of compact cryptoprocessors based on Elliptic Curves Cryptography (ECC), secure IoT devices, and secure Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs).
  • Criptoprocessors for high-performance computing systems.
  • Biomedical Instrumentation Systems
  • Smart systems for energy management.
