About us

DiTEC Research LAB (Digital Techniques) is formed by a group of professors at the Department of Electronics and Computer Technology of the University of Granada. From its fundation in 1995, the research group has accumulated a wide experience on digital systems design, focusing on development and protection of digital processing systems. Working lines of the group can be summarized in the following:

  • Intelectual property protection of IP Cores
  • IP cores development for Programmable Logic Devices.
  • Computing systems using Grid Computing
  • AND-XOR logic minimization.
  • Residuos Number Systems (RNS) arithmetic.
  • Development of high-performance digital processing systems based on RNS.

At present, the main open lines are:

  • Security in IoT systems.
  • Development of cryptographic co-processors.
  • Development of reconfigurable instrumentation for biomedical signals.
  • Smart systems for energy management.

More information can be found in research pages, where details about research lines, publications, and current research projects are provided.

Additionally, DiTEC provides consultory and project development services to universities and companies. In this context, we colaborate with companies like Endesa, Melfosur, MFS-IDI or LoMonaco.
